2020 Dream Home
I had the honor of working with the fabulous Susan Semmelmann, of Susan Semmelmann Interiors, on several paintings for her 2020 Dream Home Project with WillowTree Custom Homes.
Entrance
I worked with the designer to pull in colors from the office space and dining room, both of which flank the entry into this beautiful home. The metallic copper and bronze tones in both paintings really pull through the lighting and accents.
Entry piece is 18” x 80”
Dining piece is 60” x 48”
The Great Room
I was given free rein on the painting in this space, so I chose a pop of metallic copper swimming in muddled light and dark blues. The blues in this piece help tie the entrance pieces in.

The Spirit of Living is in the Giving
Susan Semmelmann’s mission statement is “The Spirit of Living is in the Giving,” and this installation was fitting for the 2020 Dream Homes because all proceeds of the tour benefit A Wish With Wings, a wish-granting agency that grants wishes to Texas children fighting life-threatening medical conditions.
Four 24” x 24” canvases with wood letters attached to provide dimension to the piece.
The Media Room
Muddled royal blue and black with a string of black, white, gold, and silver, lead you into this fun and funky media room.
